About
I am Yulan Galagoda, known here simply as YG. I am currently reading for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Plymouth. Before that, I spent a little over a year climbing the career ladder to Cyber Security Engineer in Sri Lanka, where I also did my undergraduate studies. In 2025, I moved to the United Kingdom to continue studying.
The Reliquary came with me in spirit.
The idea of having a collection like this has lived in me since childhood. It only became real here, in Plymouth, while studying the most forward looking technology humans have ever built. That tension is not a contradiction. It is the whole point.
Every item here represents a step in the same long journey: from stones and sticks, through ink and brass, through optical glass and mechanical keys, all the way to the algorithms and security systems I work with today. Being around these objects, caring for them, learning their histories, understanding what they meant to the people who made and used them soothes something in me that the digital world cannot reach.
This archive is personal. It is not an institution. It is simply what happens when “someone who thinks about the future spends their evenings with the past”.
